Sugar tastes good, and everything in it tastes better! Sweet crystalline carbohydrates seem to be everywhere. Most of us love to savor the unforgettable taste of our favorite desserts when we are hungry. However, what may seem innocent pleasure is actually the cause of many complex health problems when we consume them in large quantities. Today, sugar is hard to avoid, but many of us don’t even realize how addictive we are to it.

1. Muscle and joint pain

It could be one of the many signs your body uses to warn you about the inflammatory processes that are taking place inside. The large amounts of sugar in your diet make the immune cells secrete the inflamed messengers in your blood and try to break down the advanced end products of glycol or the protein bound to the glucose molecule.
The more sugar you eat, the more advanced end products of glycation appear, which leads to sending more flaming messengers to break the cycle. A series of biochemical reactions can eventually lead to arthritis, cataracts, heart disease, memory impairment or wrinkled skin.
2. Craving sweets and other sugary foods
Sugar is processed very quickly, which makes you feel hungry despite the fact that you put a scarf in the cake just an hour ago. Any deviation from this could save you energy throughout the day. When you eat sweets, the pancreas secretes insulin to help bring glucose into the cells, leaving you with energy. Once the cycle is over, you feel a lower level of energy because your body wants more sugar.
To maintain your energy levels, avoid eating unhealthy sweets and snacks. Instead, choose lean protein and healthy fats. Get “real” energy for your body from healthy foods. This level of more sugar in your blood will not cause energy mutations and retreat.
4. Constant skin breakouts
Foods with added sugar cause insulin levels to rise and start the sugar process, or bind sugar to protein molecules. Once glucose enters your blood, it triggers a series of complex physiological processes that may eventually cause inflammatory and skin problems. This increased insulin can eventually increase the activity of the sebaceous glands in your skin and stimulate inflammatory processes.
